About Jeff

I am an educator with 30 years of experience.  My current position is of the Assistive Technology Consultant for the Ann Arbor Michigan Public Schools.  My first 12 years were teaching emotionally impaired high school students.  I had a two year lesson in administration as an Assistant High School Principal.  After that I was able to start in elementary education where I love the joyful enthusiasm of new learners as a resource room teacher.  I took 5 years to be an entrepreneur starting my consulting company working with educators in multimedia and web development.  Having a chance for my dream job, I became an elementary computer lab teacher for 7 years.  I loved show new tools to energetic new learners.

With the purchase of an iPod, I found podcasts as my primary professional development tool.  EdTechTalk and the Worldbridges communities are where I learn most about online life and the web 2.0 tools. I have the deepest sense of gratitude for Jeff Lebow and Dave Cormier for their generosity and work.

My special gratefulness is to my wife of 25 years, Sharon. She keeps me real and moving forward. Through her I have three stepchildren who have each have a spouse, and together there are 5 kids who call me grandpa. Life is very good in Ann Arbor!
